Webex Control Hub

The Webex Control Hub module links Cisco Webex room devices to this controller so panel widgets can drive lights, shades, and related actions.

Commissioning of OAuth, manifests, and device discovery is usually done in Aida Platform for the site. The controller module receives mapped widget events (typically via Platform MQTT) and executes them locally.

Setup

1. Complete the Webex Workspace Integration on the Platform site.
2. Assign Webex devices to this controller.
3. Enable Webex Control Hub on the controller Modules page if required for local execution.
4. Deploy panels and test taps from the room device.

Local-webhook topologies can point Control Hub at the controller LAN endpoint so event payloads stay on-premises — see the Platform Webex doc.

Operators

• Map widgets to groups / actions that match the room
• Verify commands in Events / control history after panel use
• Keep device ↔ controller assignment accurate when rooms change
