INX
INX is the control and event path used by MHT / Inspextor PoE lighting (CoAP and MQTT). Discovery, live state, and commands for those fixtures depend on INX whether you think of it as “the lighting protocol” or the optional INX module toggle.
Module role
Under Modules → INX you can:
- Enable or tune INX-related discovery and adapter behavior
- Configure CoAP / MQTT resource subscriptions used for status and events
- Confirm that MHT devices appear in Discovery and Devices
Core controller services still speak INX for supported fixtures; the module gates and configures that stack for the site.
Operators
- Commission MHT devices via Discovery and assign them to Groups
- Control from Operations → Control, schedules, Webex panels, BACnet, or MCP
- Use INX events as inputs to Events, Automation, monitors, and optional Realtime Controller
